We've Been on the Other Side of This Decision.
OTR Consulting was built by a team who has started, operated, and grown trucking companies of their own.
Our Story
Why OTR Consulting exists.
We started OTR Consulting because we saw how many capable people wanted to get into trucking business ownership but had no real guide — no one lining up the right equipment, building the operation the right way, and staying around after the truck hits the road.
Our approach reflects that experience. OTR Consulting helps people enter the trucking business with the truck(s) already secured — newer-model equipment lined up in advance and included as part of a complete package — plus a trucking operation built from the ground up, a launched business, and hands-on operational guidance for the first six months.
Experience
Guidance built on real operating experience.
Our team brings more than 17 years of combined trucking and transportation experience.
That experience is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or guaranteed through Amazon — it reflects real operating history across a diversified freight strategy.
Trucking Company Operations
Direct experience operating trucking companies, not just advising from the outside.
Amazon Relay Experience
Experience operating within Amazon Relay and helping other carriers prepare for and enter the program.
Regional, OTR & Broker Freight
Experience across multiple freight models rather than a single dependency.
Operational Systems & Fleet Management
Hands-on experience with the systems, vendors, and processes that keep a fleet running.
Our Team
A team, not a solo consultant.
OTR Consulting is built and run by a team, each bringing a different part of the operating experience behind every program.
Gregory Brunetti
CEO
Gregory Brunetti is the Chief Executive Officer of OTR Consulting, Inc., bringing decades of entrepreneurship, financial expertise, and hands-on transportation experience to the company. A graduate of Walsh College with a Bachelor of Accounting and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Greg began his professional career in the tax departments of KPMG and Price Waterhouse before spending more than 20 years building and operating businesses in the mortgage, real estate, and development industries.
Greg entered transportation in 2009 as a FedEx Ground contractor, building delivery operations across multiple terminals and states. He later grew his operation into the largest FedEx SmartPost carrier in Maricopa County. His transportation experience continued to expand when he earned his CDL and began personally pulling trailers for Amazon on the West Coast.
From there, Greg built and operated an over-the-road trucking company, gaining firsthand experience with the challenges involved in starting, operating, staffing, managing, and scaling a trucking business. After successfully building the company, he sold the operation in 2023.
That experience ultimately became the foundation for OTR Consulting’s business model. Greg developed a scalable approach designed to help new trucking business owners avoid having to learn the industry entirely through trial and error. Today, he uses his combination of financial, entrepreneurial, and transportation experience to help OTR Consulting clients secure equipment, establish the systems and resources needed to operate, launch their businesses, and navigate the critical early stages of building a successful trucking operation.
Frank Alatorre
COO
Frank Alatorre is the Chief Operating Officer of OTR Consulting, Inc., where he combines hands-on trucking experience with a strong background in engineering, technology, systems development, and business operations. A graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in Engineering, Frank spent nearly a decade working in technical and data-focused roles involving software implementation, systems integration, data migration, automation, and technical architecture.
His career included work with organizations such as Atos, Progress Residential, and Fast Enterprises, where he developed extensive experience taking complex processes and turning them into organized, repeatable systems.
Frank later transitioned into entrepreneurship, first building and operating an Airbnb business and then purchasing and operating his own trucking company. He ultimately managed a 15-truck operation, giving him firsthand experience with the realities of fleet ownership, driver management, logistics, operational decision-making, systems implementation, and the day-to-day challenges that come with running a trucking business.
At OTR Consulting, Frank applies that combination of technical and operational experience to help turn the many moving pieces of a trucking company into a structured operation. His focus is on building efficient processes, implementing practical systems, improving workflows, and helping clients move from planning into real-world execution.
Frank brings a detail-oriented and solutions-focused approach to OTR Consulting’s mission of helping new trucking business owners get established from A–Z and providing the structure and hands-on guidance they need during their first six months of operation.
Troy Alexander
OTR Director
Troy Alexander’s career in logistics is not merely a profession—it is the culmination of a lifetime immersed in the industry from the ground up. Raised on construction sites and later operating heavy equipment himself, Troy developed an early, practical understanding of the infrastructure and discipline required to keep complex operations moving. This hands-on foundation would become the cornerstone of a career spanning more than four decades.
A defining inflection point came just days before he was set to obtain his CDL, when he was unexpectedly appointed Facility Manager by a government agency. What could have been a detour became a catalyst. In this role, Troy gained critical exposure to the intricate dynamics between truck drivers, dock operations, and freight brokers—an experience that sharpened his operational insight and broadened his strategic perspective. Recognizing an opportunity to influence outcomes more directly, he transitioned into a brokerage agent role, where he began shaping freight solutions firsthand.
Having grown up during the golden era of American road travel, Troy carried with him a deep respect for the trucking industry—and a growing concern about its evolving challenges. Witnessing systemic inefficiencies and a lack of accountability within segments of the brokerage space, he made a decisive move to align himself with an asset-based trucking organization. For Troy, it was essential to be part of a model where performance, responsibility, and results were directly connected—where there was true “skin in the game.”
As Vice President of Business Development, Troy operates at the intersection of strategy and execution. He has overseen the development and management of complex brokerage relationships while simultaneously helping architect the operational infrastructure required to support them. His influence extends across a fleet of over 1,500 trucks and trailers operating through 32 terminals nationwide, where he maintains close involvement with both asset operations and capacity planning.
Equally instrumental has been his role in strengthening the owner-operator partnership division, where he has cultivated a network of high-performing, reliable fleets. These partnerships ensure scalable, flexible solutions for shippers while maintaining the standards of quality and accountability that define Troy’s approach.
Today, Troy Alexander is recognized not only for his experience, but for his commitment to elevating industry standards—bridging the gap between operational excellence and strategic growth, and driving meaningful, lasting impact across the logistics landscape.
Dispatch Team
Dispatch
With 22 years of combined dispatch expertise, our team of five is built for one purpose: profit through movement. Drivers drive. Dispatch handles the rest — booking top-dollar loads, cutting empty miles, and keeping your pockets full with zero paperwork on your side.
A dedicated 24/7 support team is always one text or call away. We secure reliable dedicated lanes throughout the year, including peak-season demand, so when you roll with us you roll with consistency and maximum earning potential.
Our Philosophy
Build it. Launch it. Learn it. Operate it. Grow it.
It's not enough to just start a trucking business — you have to build the right foundation, launch the operation, learn how to run it, operate it well day after day, and grow when you're ready. Every OTR Consulting program is designed around this exact philosophy, from your first consultation through your six months of support and beyond.
Who We Work With
Built for a range of starting points.
- First-time owners with no prior trucking experience
- Entrepreneurs and investors evaluating trucking as a business opportunity
- Owner-operators ready to transition into business ownership
- Business owners who want structure and support, not guesswork
- Buyers who want a built operation instead of starting completely from scratch
Why We're Different
Not a consultant. Not a carrier.
OTR Consulting isn't a generic business consultant, and we're not a carrier recruiting drivers. We sell a complete, ready-to-operate trucking business package — truck(s) included — built by a team with real operating experience, then stay hands-on through your first six months of operation.
You own and operate the business. We build the foundation and stay alongside you.
